Piano Lessons with Yasmin Fairstein
at the Washington Street Arts Center
Introductory sessions begin February 22nd!
Come and learn basic or advanced piano techniques with international Piano Performance student Yasmin Fairstein! 30-minute lessons for children will be focused on developing their natural curiosity in a playful way. For teens and adults, the structure of the lessons will be tailored to interests of each player. In all cases, lessons will help students connect in a deeper way with music. No experience necessary.

One month of once weekly, 30-minute sessions - initial session is complimentary, and most sheet music will be provided.
$60 for VAAC members/ $70 for non-members
Saturdays between 10 am and 3 pm

Yasmin Fainstein is a native of Buenos Aires, Argentina. She received a bachelor's degree in Piano and Chamber Music at Astor Piazzolla Conservatory and recently graduated from National University of Arts with a bachelor's degree in Piano Performance. Currently, she is pursuing a master's degree in Piano Performance at USD. Fainstein is a passionate, collaborative pianist, and a member of Duo Souto-Fairstein with the violist Luz García Souto and of Ensamble Sintonía, conducted by Mauricio Weintraub. Also, Yasmin played for all the rehearsals and performances of "Many Moons", the last opera production for children that took part last December at USD. Performances included venues in Centerville, Sioux City, Sioux Falls and Vermillion.
