Natural Dye Workshop
this one day workshop is limited to 15 participants. The Workshop will provide the basics of dying wool and silk with natural dyes which produce brilliant and permanent colors.
Painting with Klaire
Painting with oil with one on one direction and critique. Ages 14 and up each participant will achieve an original individual painting. Pricing includes SD Sale Tax. Held on Thursday evenings.
2018 Sewing with Marina
Learn basics of Sewing by hand and with a sewing machine. Each class will create a different project . Ages 14 and up. Class size limited so all receive personal attention. Most materials provided. All ed classes are plus tax.
Education Scholarship Fund Donations
Donations to the VAAC Education Scholarship fund will be used to assist students, who would be unable to afford the tuition, to attend classes and or the Messy Hands Summer Arts Camp. In most cases the scholarship is 40% to 50% of the tuition and in extreme hardship cases 100% when funds are available in the scholarship fund. The VAAC does accept volunteer work hours in lieu of a percent of tuition if requested with details worked out with VAAC Administration.
Ceramics with Molly
Friday afternoons try your hand at hand building and wheel throwing ceramics. This pottery class is for beginners & intermediate learning. Fee includes SD Sales Tax and the will be additional materials cost dependent on the type and quantity of materials utilized.
